This Corporate FP&A position is responsible for leading the Company’s Profit & Loss forecasts including all financial deliverables to Paramount C-Level executives and our Corporate Parent.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Lead P&L planning and consolidation activities for Paramount Pictures, including coordination with Business Units to drive the Long-Range Plan, annual Budget, forecast updates, and various ad hoc analyses Responsible for financial models to forecast revenues and costs on a by-film basis Calculate impacts of various risks and opportunities with respect to forecast results (i.e., sensitivity analysis) Summarize actual and forecast results for review by senior management; analyze and synthesize large amounts of data into simple presentations Create and maintain forecast reports issued weekly and used throughout the organization by senior management and parent company Oversee day-to-day management of corporate Hyperion system, monthly submission to corporate parent, and oversight of the system administrator Develop, manage, and train staff Act as liaison to planning counterparts at Corporate parent, Accounting, and Tax departments within Paramount Maintain current knowledge of the entertainment landscape including all platforms, key talent, and product releases Monitor movements in foreign exchange rates and associated impact on forecast results Qualifications/SkillsBasic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, MBA a plus 12+ years related experience Desired skills: Film industry experience, including an understanding of film accounting, forecasting revenues/cost on by-film basis, windowing, etc. Prior Motion Picture/Filmed Entertainment FP&A experience strongly preferred Strong systems acumen, specifically Hyperion, Essbase, HFM Excellent communication skills and able to interface with all levels within the organization Must be highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a process and drive results Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Founded in 1912, Paramount Pictures works with talented filmmakers to produce and distribute entertainment around the world.
