The Hollywood Academy has hourly and monthly studio lockout space available if you need a place to practice or give lessons. Rates start at just $12/hr.
It has been open since 2004 and is one of LA's most prominent music and art schools, with over 5,000 students.

You can use these rooms to practice singing, play the piano, or play percussion instruments like drums and marimbas.
The rooms have different types of pianos you can use too, like Yamaha, Casio, and Kawai.

Hourly Rentals
Piano Rehearsal and Practice Rooms: $12/hr
Drum and Marimba Practice Rooms: $19-$27/hr

Monthly Rentals
There are two types of monthly rentals available HAMA—monthly rental pass and dedicated practice rooms.
- The monthly rental pass is about $199/month. It includes 24/7 studio access and 40 hours of studio time allowed per month. No advance registration is needed to use your studio time in one of the available rooms.
- Dedicated studio practice rooms are about $425/month. These also include 24/7 access, WiFi, and a dedicated storage locker. They are your own dedicated studio lockout to play and practice as you wish.
Note: Monthly rooms, like many others in Los Angeles, are sought after. There’s a wait list of usually about 6 months to finalize a rental.
