Firefly

Firefly is a romantic cocktail bar and restaurant. They bill themselves as the most romantic bar in all of Los Angeles. On the weekends, they typically have live music playing on the patio. Call ahead to confirm. The menu is upscale American cuisine. The music encompasses a wide range of genres, ranging from pop to jazz.

Perch

Perch is a rooftop bar and restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. Live music nightly at this upscale rooftop bar. Flamenco to indie to jazz.

The Escondite

They have live music a few nights of the week on no fixed schedule. This is a neighborhood bar in the heart of downtown. They’ve got sports, burgers, and a patio with bands, songwriters, and DJs performing all week. Check The Escondite’s Instagram for show information. It’s usually up to date.

The Dresden

The Dresden is a Hollywood classic. An old steakhouse vibe with big booths and a long wine list. Live cover bands Wednesday and Thursday nights play for guests. It’s a great Hollywood experience.

Bandera

Due to its hidden signage, most people might overlook this sophisticated, dimly lit restaurant that has live music every night of the week. Live jazz cuts through the room as it mingles with the sounds of steaks sizzling and cocktail glasses clinking.

Vibrato Grill

Vibrato Grill is worth the long drive through Beverly Glen’s winding roads. The Glen Centre jazz club, founded by jazz legend Herb Alpert, hosts live music six nights a week on a stage at the front of the restaurant. An American dinner menu has steaks and unique vegan options.
