The Account Planning Director plays an instrumental role in this process, supporting the global transactional business with necessary reports, forecasts, tools and ideas.Responsibilities include analyzing and planning sales strategies to increase revenue and distribution of film and TV content across our digital retail accounts, such as Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google and Sky. They will undertake regular and ad hoc projects, both for domestic and international teams, such as monitoring internal and competitive KPIs, producing associated reporting, delivering ‘latest development’ insights, creating self-serve tools and amplifying sales contributions through statistical modeling.Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Optimize planning and performance reporting to improve margin generation at key accountsTrack promotional performance and report findings and insight-driven recommendations to the sales team for further development. Use Tableau to report sales performance and key drivers, amending existing and creating new tools / reports as requiredCollaborate with sales team to develop new release strategies, improving slate potential and contribution margin. Lead the sales team in developing, tracking, and reporting sales quarterly plans and associated sales planning ledgers. Foster and maintain collaborative business planning relationships with appropriate customer associates, and counterparts. Collaborate with sales and internal constituents to develop and implement sales plans that exceed sales goals. Develop "close-the-gap" tactics. Other duties and responsibilities as required.
