As a Senior Engineer, DevOps you will be part of a global team in a growing software organization with stakeholders in the US, India, Scotland, Denmark, and China. You will have an active role in improving our deployment and release processes and be part of our journey as we take our products and infrastructure to the Cloud.This role will be based in Niles, Illinois (US), but we offer hybrid, remote, or on-site accommodation.Responsibilities Collaborate with development teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software deployment and release lifecycle. Provide guidance and automation to assist them in taking their products to market. Liaison to a variety of product development teams, being the contact for the tools, infrastructure, and automation to take their products to market. Responsible for availability, security and support of Shure’s deployment and release environments. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of pipelines that manage high-availability Web and Microservices applications. Create Infrastructure as code (IaaC), reusable frameworks and modules for creating and managing infrastructure within AWS. Participate in the development of monitoring and reporting dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana. Collaborate on the creation of standards and repeatable processes for managing change across environments, taking advantage of innovative cloud technologies, DevOps tools and practices.
