Review
Snaggletooth Studios is a clean hourly studio with brand new equipment in North Hollywood.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and they can even assist with setting up.
My favorite thing about Snaggletooth is that their spaces feel like a real stage. Other rehearsal spaces are usually just a room with maybe a drum riser at the back.
Playing on an actual stage is invaluable when it comes to nailing choreography or getting close to the feeling of performance day. When I need more than a band practice room, Snaggletooth is where I turn.
Noise
Snaggletooth does a great job with soundproofing. Like other studios though, if an extra loud band is next door while you’re there, expect to hear it bleed through. It is better than most other rehearsal spaces though. They even focus on being able to use Studio 3 as a vocal lesson or drum practice room.
Studio Sizes
Studio sizes are approximated here. The building shape and construction may make each room a little different.
Hourly Studios:
- Studio 3: 110 square feet. $20/hour
- Studio 4: 300 square feet. $28/hour
- Studio 1: 500 square feet. $40/hour
Equipment
This equipment is only available at the hourly studio rentals. If you’re renting a monthly lockout, you’ll have to bring your own gear.

Monthly Lockouts at Snaggletooth
Pricing: Monthly lockouts range from $500 to $1,500 per month. The studios range in size from about 100 square feet to 500 square feet.
In addition to hourly rehearsal rentals, Snaggletooth also offers small, medium, and large monthly lockouts.
These monthly lockouts are ideal for bands looking for a permanent place to rehearse with their own key and access code.
Most of the rehearsal rooms also have storage space for extra gear.
Some artists use these rehearsal rooms as recording studios as well. All rooms come empty and are equipped with internet access and power.
